Trisagion Prayers

The Trisagion Prayers are a series of prayers, beginning with the Trisagion ("Holy God") and ending with The Lord's Prayer. The Trisagion Prayers usually begin liturigical services. Then, these prayers are often called "Opening Prayers"

The Trisagion Prayers

+In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Glory to You, our God, glory to You.

Heavenly King, Consoler, the Spirit of Truth, present in all places and filling all things, the Treasury of blessings and the Giver of life, come and dwell in us, cleanse us of all stain, and save our souls, O Good One.

+Holy God! Holy Mighty One! Holy Immortal One! Have mercy on us. (three times)

Some parishes say the following instead:
+Holy God! Holy Mighty! Holy Immortal! Have mercy on us. (three times))

In Arabic::
قدوس الله، قدوس القوي، قدوس الذي لا يموت ارحم
نا +Quddouson (Qudooson) Allâh! Quddouson ul-qawee! Quddouson ulladhee la yamout! Irhamna.
Quddūsun Allāh, Quddūsun al-qawī, Quddūsun alladhī lā yamūt urḥamnā.

In Greek:
+Ἅγιος ὁ Θεός, Ἅγιος ἰσχυρός, Ἅγιος ἀθάνατος, ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς.
+Agios O Theos! Agios Eeskhiros! Agios Athanatos! Eleison imas!
+Hágios ho Theós, Hágios ischyrós, Hágios athánatos, eléēson hēmâs. (Traditional Romanization)

+Glory be the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and for ever and ever. Amen.

All-Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, forgive our sins. Master, pardon our transgressions. Holy One, look upon us and heal our infirmities for your name's sake."

"Lord, have mercy." (three times)

+Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and for ever and ever. Amen.

"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

+For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always and for ever and ever."

Amen.

O God of all spirits and of all flesh, who have destroyed death, overcome the devil, and given life to the world: grant, O Lord, to the souls of your servants Bucky and Shirley, who has departed from this life, that it may rest in a place of light, in a place of happiness, in a place of peace, where there is no pain, no grief, no sighing. And since You are a gracious God and the Lover of Mankind, forgive him/her every sin he/she has committed by thought, or word, or deed, for there is not a man who lives and does not sin : You alone are without sin, your righteousness is everlasting, and your word is true. You are the Resurrection and the Life, and the repose of your departed servants Bucky and Shirley. O Christ our God, and we send up glory to You, together with your eternal Father and your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and always and for ages upon ages. Amen.
