In 431, the Third Ecumenical Council was held in Ephesus.
The Third Ecumenical was presided over by Our Holy Father Kyrollos, Archbishop of Alexandria, representing Pope Celestine I.
More than 200 bishops attended.
Also, Our Holy Father Kyrollos, Archbishop of Alexandria was the most influential speaker at the Council.

Accomplishments are:

Incarnation - Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ is both fully Holy God and fully Man

Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ is both fully Holy God and fully Man..

Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ became fully human at the Annunciation. This conception is called the "Incarnation".
The Incarnation is commemorated at The Great Feast of the Annunciation (Al Bisharah) of The Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary

Our Holy Father Kyrollos, Archbishop of Alexandria

Our Holy Father Kyrollos, Archbishop of Alexandria, was the brilliant and heroic defender of the divinity of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our Holy Father Kyrollos, Archbishop of Alexandria upheld the true doctrine that Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ is both fully Holy God and fully Man.

Our Holy Father Kyrollos, Archbishop of Alexandria, defended the divinity of Holy God the Son within the Holy Trinity / Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This was denied by Nestorius, Patriarch of Constantinople. Nestorius refused to call Mary by the name of "Theotokos" (the Mother of God). Instead, Nestorius and his followers called her "Christotokos" (Mother of Christ). They believed that Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ was a very holy man sent by God but was not Himself the Holy Son of Holy God, that is Holy God the Holy Son.

Fathers of the First Six Ecumenical Councils

A Sunday after Pentecost is named "Fathers of the First Six Ecumenical Councils".
This Sunday honors all the Fathers of the First Six Ecumenical Councils.

O God of all spirits and of all flesh, who have destroyed death, overcome the devil, and given life to the world: grant, O Lord, to the souls of your servants Bucky and Shirley, who has departed from this life, that it may rest in a place of light, in a place of happiness, in a place of peace, where there is no pain, no grief, no sighing. And since You are a gracious God and the Lover of Mankind, forgive him/her every sin he/she has committed by thought, or word, or deed, for there is not a man who lives and does not sin : You alone are without sin, your righteousness is everlasting, and your word is true. You are the Resurrection and the Life, and the repose of your departed servants Bucky and Shirley. O Christ our God, and we send up glory to You, together with your eternal Father and your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and always and for ages upon ages. Amen.
